If you like family-run accommodation in a quiet location, you will feel at home with us. The accommodation is suitable for solo travelers, adults and families. Guests are received in person.

The home is idyllically located right by Markstien in Højer. You live in a separate guest area with its own entrance. The area is about 110 m². There are three rooms, a comfortable living area with dining table, a reading corner, an electric fireplace and a well-equipped communal kitchen for self-catering

The guest wing has been renovated in 2022. A large garden with 2 sun loungers, table and chairs, a trampoline and a small garden shed is available to all guests.

The rooms can be booked individually or together as an apartment (up to 7 people in total).

Room 1: 2 people, 1 double bed (own travel cot can be placed), private bathroom with shower not far from the room, view of the marshland.

Room 2: Sleeps up to 3 people, 2 beds and a pull-out sofa bed, en suite bathroom with shower not far from the room, views of the marshland.

Room 3: 2 people, 2 beds, bathroom with shower and bath is in the room, garden view.

Facilities

Parking and Wi Fi are available and are free.

Bed linen and towels are included.

There is a shelter for bicycles and strollers.

Hills and environs

Højer is the perfect starting point for trips to southern Jutland as well as to the islands of Sylt, Föhr and Amrum. The place itself enchants with the old mill, the beautiful streets, the nearby lock and the dike. For the daily supply there is a supermarket, a butcher and a baker in the village. The North Sea is within easy reach. Natural beaches and the island of Rømø are not far away. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, cycling and relaxation.

Tøndermarsk extends over 54 kilometers. There are many sights and museums for young and old to discover, and beautiful cities like Tønder and Ribe are always worth a visit. Mold barrels with Schackenborg Castle are also popular. LEGOLAND Billund can be reached in 1.5 hours, and the Baltic Sea is only 45 minutes away by car. Flora and fauna are characteristic and eerily beautiful.

In Højer and the surrounding area, you can especially observe the natural spectacle "Black Sun" at the right time of the year. If the starlings do not cover the sky, visitors are likely to be fascinated by other birds and their songs.
