These disabled-friendly holiday apartments are suitable for both wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties, however there is no lift/attic lift. You will live high above Havneby's central square, and have a view of the Wadden Sea towards two corners of the world, best view from the second floor. The central location means that both shopping, restaurants and the harbor are within walking distance.
The four apartments are located at Nørre Frankel 1, Havneby, Rømø. The apartments are on the first and second (top) floor, in a newly built property from 2020, all with a south-facing balcony and a corridor to the north. There is access via a lift (w: 1.10 x l: 1.40 m) and external stairs.
· All doors are min. 85 cm. in width.
· Each apartment has 2 bedrooms, of which there is a raised elevation bed in one room.
· Shower niche without edge / raise-lower sink / toilet with grab bars on both sides.
· Kitchen with raise-lower sink and worktop
· Exit to spacious balcony
· Private parking (one car per apartment)
There are some differences between the 4 apartments such as.
· Sliding door instead of general. door to the room with elevated bed
· Armchair in the living room where the armrests can be pushed back so that transfer from a wheelchair is easy.
· Raise/lower the sink in the bathroom

If home help or home nursing care is needed, remember that this must be ordered no later than 3 weeks before you arrive. Here you must contact your home municipality, which then notifies Tønder Municipality, which is the holiday centre's home municipality. It is also possible to order other aids for the stay, if this is required.
