From Oysters to Flame Salmon: Culinary Adventures on Rømø

Join us for a very special winter holiday experience on 13 and 14 February 2025 when Marskdestilleriet offers "Wadden Sea & Marsh Distilled" - a gastronomic get-away where campfire food, fire, smoke and local ingredients create unforgettable taste experiences.

Campfire dishes with Jesper Voss & Jesper Lynge, Rømø Slagteren and Wild Scandinavian Cooking.

The programme offers 6 different campfire food experiences, prepared under the open sky by two of Denmark's most passionate chefs Oyster King™ Jesper Danneborg Voss from Fanø returns to the distillery with his expertise in the fresh produce of the Wadden Sea. He will be joined by Livø's wild Kjøgemester Jesper Lynge Bergholdt, who brings his unique style and Limfjord produce to the event.

In addition, the new Rømø Butcher will be serving Marsk lamb sausages with bread on 13 February. Jesper and Jesper will be joined on 14 February by Danish chef Brian Boysen from Wild Scandinavian Cooking in Hamburg.

More than food

In addition to the gastronomic highlights, you can also explore a number of extra activities, for example, distiller Hans Sjursen invites you to a tour of the distillery with a mini tasting. The distillery's shop and café are open, where you can enjoy everything from hot and cold drinks to whisky, gin, rum, aquavit and liqueurs.
