A beautiful historical place to spend the night and eat

Schackenborg Slotskro

Close to Marsk og Hav and high up to the sky lies the castle town of Møgeltønder.

On the beautiful cobbled Slotsgade with old lanterns, which shine at night, is Schackenborg Slotskro, privileged since 1687, and with Schackenborg Castle as its nearest neighbour. At the inn, we cherish history, and we look forward to taking you on a gastronomic journey based on a modern version of the South Jutland food story with good, local ingredients. Our newly renovated rooms are mainly located in the town houses by the inn.
