A journey through art and nature

Artjam Road presents breathtaking works of art created by renowned international artists. These works of art are strategically located along the Marsk Stien, a certified hiking trail that winds through the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Wadden Sea National Park. This unique combination of modern art and fantastic nature makes for an inspiring journey whether you walk, cycle or drive.

Community and cultural exchange

The event not only showcases the artists' works, but also invites the public to engage in the artistic process. Visitors can experience the transformation of raw oak logs into beautiful sculptures and interact with the artists. This interaction fosters a sense of community and cultural exchange that creates lasting friendships and understanding between different cultures.

Art and heritage

Artjam Road aims to enhance Højer's cultural profile and attract tourists and art enthusiasts. The event's legacy is anchored in the Højer Art Grove, a sculpture park that displays artworks from past symposia. This park symbolizes the long-term cultural and artistic contributions to the local community.

A growing tradition

With each passing year, Artjam Road continues to grow, adding more artworks and attracting a larger audience. The hope is to make it an annual tradition that not only enriches the local culture, but also puts Højer on the map as a significant art destination in Denmark.
