“Ved Den Røde Plads” is a charming bar located in the heart of Tønder, where the atmosphere is both cozy and informal. The bar offers a large, screened courtyard where guests can enjoy the good weather in quiet surroundings. The well-assorted wine list presents a selection of quality wines from the same supplier, and for those looking for non-alcoholic alternatives, we offer both non-alcoholic wine in red, white and rosé as well as six different non-alcoholic beers.
The decor of the bar is atmospheric and inviting, with several cozy rooms that allow for privacy, making it a perfect place for both small and large groups. Our furniture is recycled furniture that has been updated and contributes to the warm and cozy atmosphere.
At the bar you can enjoy a selection of craft beers, local drinks and gin and rum-based cocktails made with spirits from Norlyk Distillery. Delicious tapas are always served, and larger groups can contact us in advance to order food. Slagter Pop supplies the most delicious ingredients, and we can arrange tours of the distillery for larger groups.
We also host various events throughout the year, and the bar offers facilities for larger groups that can be tailored to your needs. There is parking within 100 meters of the bar, so it is easy to get to.

The bar is located in an older house on the pedestrian street. The house is on different levels so some places will be difficult to access for people with limited mobility or wheelchair users. However, there are plenty of options for accessible rooms and outdoor dining for people with limited mobility. Parking is close by and if you need disabled parking you can drive to the backyard of the bar.
