🌍❄️ NEW EXHIBITION IN KUNSTHAL HOLMEN ❄️🌍

Step into a world on the edge of the far North.

With the exhibition “Ultima Thule” Acclaimed photographer Henrik Saxgren invites you on a magnificent and harsh journey into the Greenlandic trapping culture – where the forces of nature set the agenda, and life is lived with both courage and respect.

Through a strong and sensual photographic expression, Saxgren depicts the encounter between man and nature in one of the world's most extreme environments. Here we follow the hunters on dog sleds across the sea ice in freezing cold, where the quest for survival plays out side by side with a deep connection to nature.

“Ultima Thule” is not just a documentary – it is a tribute to Greenland and its people. A story of strength, vulnerability and a way of life that balances on the edge of extinction.

The exhibition is also more relevant than ever and triggers reflections on our relationship with nature, culture and change in turbulent times.
