Abild Church is 5 km away. north of Tønder. The church is from approx. 1200s, and is whitewashed with black bricks. The ship was demolished in 1709 and rebuilt.

The tower is from 1749, which can be seen on the iron anchors in the west gable. In 1886, the front door of the church was moved from the nave to the tower room, where it was converted into a porch.
