Marskture

Marskture offers unique guided nature experiences in Tøndermarsken and Nationalpark Vadehavet — get close to Sort Sol, seals, oysters, and the wild nature, or dive into history on a guided bunker tour on Rømø.

The tours are led by a true local of the marsh, a certified nature guide who has lived and worked in the region for many years. On the guided Sort Sol bus tours, Marskture has achieved a success rate of nearly 100% in finding the massive flocks of starlings over the past six years.

Marskture is based at Marskture's Motel at Nørrevej 32 in Højer — originally an old tobacco drying plant, it now features 8 cozy rooms and a garden with a covered terrace where oyster tours followed by a BBQ event are held. It is possible to book a tour, accommodation, and food as a combined package. From June to October, the restaurant "Thai Food Nu" is open on-site (Thursday to Sunday).
