The history behind the walls: Det Gule Palæ

This time, the doors open to Det Gule Palæ, also known as the Amtmandspalæet or the Holstein Mansion. A striking building in the cityscape that many have passed numerous times without knowing what lies behind the yellow walls. The mansion was built in 1768 in the Louis Seize style as a residence for the County Governor, Count U.A. Holstein. Today, the building houses the Chimney Sweep Guild – but the past still resides within its walls.
