Drøhse’s House

Drøhse’s House is one of the most well-preserved houses in Tønder from its time. It was built in 1672 and was a private residence for the wealthy throughout the 18th and 19th century. In the beginning of the 1980s, the house was restored to such an extent that it won a Europa-Nostra award in 1985.

In addition to giving you a glimpse of the fantastic architecture found in old trading houses, the building also houses a number of exhibitions focusing on lace and textiles.
