Eat your way through Tønder and the biggest Sønderjyske Kaffebord on Saturday 20 April at 11.00 – 15.00

In 2021, the tastiest and sweetest festival saw the light of day. Sønderjysk Kagefestival was already a great success in the first year, and again this year the festival is ready to delve into the history surrounding Sønderjysk Kaffebord.
You can experience cake competitions, enjoy good music, and taste no less than 21 different traditional South Jutland cakes, baked by skilled bakers and confectioners from South Jutland.

Your clip card gives you access to experience and taste the Sønderjyske Kaffebord through Tønder's pedestrian street. There are both 'the crisp' - 'the dry' and 'the soft' such as Pomle, Brødtorte and Ingenting.

What is included?

  • Cutting card for 21 different cakes in bite-sized pieces
  • Access to all activities on the day

Practical information

The physical ticket for the Cake Festival must be picked up at the Tourist Office, Storegade 2-4, 6270 Tønder on the day. Your online ticket/receipt must be presented either digitally or in print.

Description about availability of the event:
The event takes place on the Tønder pedestrian street, where it is possible to park in various places in the city, where there is also the option of disabled parking. The pedestrian street is partly paved with cobblestones, but it is possible to walk on the pavement with tiles.
