Aarhus-based folk-pop band Northern Assembly have released their critically acclaimed third album 'The Choir of Trembling Hands'. The new album makes it clear: in the harmony of community, there is strength to be found to stand together in the midst of the storm.
The album focuses on the sound of the voice, and the sound of diverse voices takes the familiar Northern Assembly harmony to new heights.

'The beautiful vocals add to the already uplifting atmosphere created by lead vocalist Dina Dánialsdottír with her clear, bright voice and the band's three other members' Ole Rosenstad Svidt, GAFFA.

Northern Assembly centres around the two songwriters Dina Dánialsdóttir (FO) and Andreas Bevan (UK), driven by a shared passion for sincere storytelling and hand played music. The quartet is completed by double bassist Jesper Smalbro and drummer Jens Hedegaard.

With over two hundred concerts at home and abroad, three albums and annual Christmas releases since 2017, the band has thoroughly established their ability to both play and create music.
