The Danish Artillery Regiment has planned trial firings of the Rømø
Sydstrand (Havsand) in the period 18 to 22 March 2024
(both days included).
Daily shooting time throughout the period will be from 08:00 to 17:00.
During this time, Rømø Sydstrand (Havsand) will be closed to the public.
Warning boards are expected to be installed in the following places:
• On the descent to Sønderstrand
• 2 pcs. West of Vråby Plantage
• In the dune row at Klitbjergs Lå (the pile row)
• By the roads that lead through the dunes to the beach i
experimental area
• Across the beach at Klitbjergs Lå (the row of piles).
As long as there is shooting, the shooting flag will be raised
(red flag with a white square in the middle) the following 4 places:
– In the dunes at Klitbjergs Lå
- 2 pcs. west of Vråby plantation
– On the descent to Sønderstrand.
When the flags are raised, all traffic on the beach in the area west and south-west of the outermost dune range from Klitbjergs Lå in the north to the southern end of Rømø is dangerous and prohibited

Likewise, there may be circumstances which mean that the availability for a period is not as described by us.
