The museum deals with the German naval air base from 1914-1920. Pictures, documents and objects illuminate the short but dramatic period in which Tønder was home to Northern Europe's largest military airship. In addition, documentation material, vehicles and other material from the time of the Danish garrison from 1920 to 2003.
