Sort Safari offers exciting oyster safaris where participants can experience collecting oysters directly from the Wadden Sea. The tours take place on foot at low tide, where guided groups are taken out to the oyster banks. Along the way, the participants gain insight into the oysters' biology, history and importance for the area, as well as tips for preparing the collected oysters. Sort Safari organizes both a gourmet trip and a regular oyster trip, here the difference is that there is a cooking event after the oyster trip.
Marskture offers unique oyster trips where participants can experience the Wadden Sea's rich ecosystem and collect oysters directly from the seabed. Under the expert guidance of the guide, participants learn how to open and prepare oysters correctly. After collection, you can enjoy the fresh oysters on site, often with various accessories. For an extra experience, the trip can be combined with a barbecue event, where oysters and local specialties such as ring knights from Højer Sausages are grilled and served on the beach or in a campfire cabin.
Wadden Sea Experiences offers an exciting one-day trip where participants have the opportunity to collect oysters directly from the Wadden Sea. The trip is led by experienced nature guides who take the participants out to the oyster banks at low tide. Participants learn how to open and prepare the collected oysters, which can be enjoyed on site or taken home. The trip includes bus transport to and from the salt meadow, as well as a food experience with a dedicated food guide at Højergård. The day begins with coffee and cake on arrival at Højergård and ends with oyster cooking in the kitchen or over an open fire, where the participants can taste their catch.

All oyster trips require walking out into the mudflats where it can be difficult to move, therefore we do not recommend walking or disabled people to do this.
